​Drift away into the cosmos with Detax and Loop Faction AKA The Outerclass, to ponder the weirdness of the world we find ourselves stranded on, attempt to come to terms with the frequently bewildering happenings of our daily lives, and take a moment to find amusement in the bemusement, in his new video; Alien.

Wandering around a picturesque moorland, Detax alienates himself from that which already feels alien, and rants with his signature engaging 'repeater-bars' and multi-rhymes, on the ever-frustrating inability to feel like one belongs in the place they've come from. The video plays on the topic with a light-hearted, 'budget Sci-Fi' appearance, satirising conventions both old and new, and reinforcing the message that 'normal' is overrated. The beat rings with an ambient melody, two-note bass, and a consistent drum loop, that perfectly envelops the feeling of searching and searching for sense, where an answer is yet to come.

Follow Obadiah and Chillman on a trip to the past as they reminisce on those strange days between childhood and adulthood, sharing memories over a chilled beat in a way that will have your brain throwing up images you had completely forgotten about!

Production quality on this video is the best it can get; editing, composition, choice of scenery and the way it's all strung together is on point! Taking a selection of everyday places and shooting them in such a way to make you stop and think about the many different reasons you've passed through the grounds that you still pass through today. The beat is an engaging yet relaxing display of soft synths, light claps, and simple subs, to induce that feeling of reclining as you spark one up and take a moment to reflect. Such a feeling is solidified by the lyrics of Obadiah and Chillman as they bring up anecdotes you're bound to relate to, and deliver them in such a way to have you looking back on your own past.
