Dead Players - Yeah / Ever Review

There is no doubt in my mind that the Deadplayers (Jam Baxter, Dabbla & Ghost town) are going to blow up this year, this elite tag team of hip hop heroes have been working their first album for the last few months, due to drop on HighFocus Records on the 12 of august.  The first couple of tracks that have seen the light of day are 'Yeah' & 'Ever'.  Yeah is a fast paced tune rolling at about 140 bpm, but don't be fooled this is no grime wannabe banger. The beat has a definite gipsy/carnival vibes that keeps the pace as Dabbla & Baxter come with high energy flows that the UK Hip-Hop seen is all too often lacking. 'Ever' see's Jam Baxter on a solo tip, this track is a testament to the skills of this mic veteran, pulling of a selection of mad flows over this twisting beat that seems to fit his style perfectly. The videos for both these tracks are well worth checking out with Yeah animated by life4lands very own Monsta and Ever seems to have the trade markvideo style we have come to expect from baxter.
