Moraless returns with a new collection of hazy visions and intoxicating waves in his second E.P; Less Is More. Guaranteed to teleport listeners to the mindstate of stumbling home in the sunrise, or slumped on a bean bag trying to figure out what you're looking at. Moraless takes you on a tour through his nightly routines, images of a busy world bustling around you become hazy and distant as the frame of reference sits embedded in a mind that's focussed on a hundred things, both present and absent, all at once. The bars come with a continuous flowing base, throwing up intricate patterns to give definition to the otherwise smoky waves. Capturing the state of mind trying to figure it all out, Moraless demonstrates how one can have everything thrown together in a single hastily-assembled mix, and still progress. Deep in the madness lies a method, and whether or not anyone can name it, it is there, and it is effective! Reminding you of every time you've ever been lost, overwhelmed, or stuck on where to go next, you have eventually made it here to laugh about it... And there are many more moments like that to come. Hezit brings a bassy, wobbly, ambient collection of beats that immediately give the listener a 'fly-on-the-wall' effect of the house-party aftermaths, and smoke-filled rooms of one's battle against writer's block. The choice of samples is unique and each one's seamlessly sewn into the track. All tracks carry a clean-cut beat, with an ambient backdrop of distant melodies and high-end elements. I am not sure if I have been using the word 'unique' too much recently, but Hezit's work is definitely it! Less Is More is a perfect for any situation where you may find yourself needing to focus. Be it on getting home, or finally getting something out of your head and onto the page, this EP is one to drive you through it, and accompany you as you collapse in the corner and light up whatever you may choose to celebrate getting through it with!
